Our Approach
Purpose:
The Indiana Cyber Network trains, mentors, and develops student apprentices to become cybersecurity professionals
Utilizing our team of apprentices we provide cybersecurity consulting services across Indiana for small businesses and organizations at an affordable cost.
The ICN aims to increase the amount of students studying cybersecurity to meet the growing demand.
Through industry relevant training and certification, we develop our apprentices to handle real world cyber threats.
How we accomplish these goals
Short Term
The ICN hires students that are hardworking, bright, and motivated to learn. These students gain valuable work experience while allowing the ICN to provide affordable cybersecurity services to small businesses all around Indiana.
Long Term
The ICN Partners with Universities across Indiana to promote cybersecurity to prospective students. The ICN also collaborates with their interns to allow them to study and get industry certifications that will propel their career.
What We Provide:
-
Our Indiana College centers are collaborating with local school districts to establish security pathways to increase student interest! We strive to improve curriculums and help with staffing concerns to help student recruit rates. Through this, we can introduce students to cybersecurity concepts in middle and high school to gain interest and address workforce shortages.
-
Students in our center will use actual cybersecurity products, leading to hands-on experience benefiting future workplaces. Furthermore, these students are able to attempt challenging certification tests, demonstrating a strong knowledge of fundamentals
-
Through our center’s efforts, Indiana’s cybersecurity industry will grow - resulting in higher investments and increased employment opportunities. We hope to encourage Indiana college graduates to stay in Indiana and improve the economy and competition within the state.t goes here

By growing our cybersecurity industries, cybersecurity as a whole will improve. Our centers directly team up with non-profit organizations to help keep their data secure.
